What changes is the location: at that stage I would steer you toward a completely flat beach with no steps and no walking, such as Playa del Holi, rather than anywhere that requires effort to reach. You bring your own wardrobe — I do not keep a collection of dresses, so you will want to plan this in advance. What works best on the beach: fitted fabric across the bump so the shape reads clearly, and something flowing below it that catches the breeze. Solid colours photograph better than busy prints, and light tones — whites, creams, soft pinks and blues — sit beautifully against sand and water. Bring a second option if you can; changing outfits mid-session is easy and doubles the range of your gallery. No. I guide you through the whole session, and every position I suggest is one that works comfortably at this stage of pregnancy — nothing that requires balance, getting down onto the sand, or holding a pose long enough to get tired. If something does not feel right, say so and we move on immediately. Morning is gentler if the heat is bothering you, which it often does in the third trimester, and the beaches are nearly empty. If you would rather go ahead in the rain, I can shoot with a weather cover on the camera; I want to be straightforward that this limits me, since I cannot use additional lighting or change lenses while the cover is on, so the images will be simpler than a dry session.
