Every session includes the full edited gallery — not a selection, and not a per-photo charge. You receive every usable frame, graded and colour corrected, as high-resolution JPGs with no watermarks, in an online gallery with unlimited downloads. Your partner and children are included at no additional cost. What changes between the options above is time and coverage, not what you take home.
Sixty minutes is what most people book, and it is comfortable for one location — the beach, or the streets, or your resort. Choose 90 minutes when you want to move between two or three settings in the same session, which is where Puerto Vallarta is unusual: the cobblestones, the sand, and a quiet cove are all within a short drive of each other. The 90-minute option is about covering more ground, not about the size of your group.
No. Sessions cover up to 8 people at the standard rate. Groups of 9 to 15 add a modest group fee that reflects the extra coordination — with a large family, most of the time goes into arranging people and working through the smaller combinations you will want. For 16 or more, get in touch first: at that size it becomes closer to an event than a session, and I would rather understand what you are planning than quote you blind.
Within Puerto Vallarta, no. Beyond it there is a travel fee, because the drive genuinely takes a large part of the day: 25 USD for Nuevo Vallarta and Bucerías. Ask me for any other location. To give you a sense of why — for a one-hour session in Punta de Mita at 6 PM, I leave at 4:30 to be certain of arriving on time and get home around 9. The fee covers that time rather than the distance. Two other things worth knowing. Getting yourselves to the location is up to you: I arrive under my own arrangements and cannot drive clients, so plan on a taxi or Uber if we are meeting outside walking distance from your hotel, and the same applies between stops on a multi-location session. And if you choose to be photographed at a resort, some properties charge a day-use fee to let an outside photographer in — that amount is set by the hotel, not by me.
Not by default. You can pay in full after the session — I hold your date on your word, and you settle up once we are finished and you have seen that the session went well. I know that is unusual, and it is deliberate: booking a photographer in a country you have never visited asks a lot of trust, and I would rather carry that risk than ask you to. If you would prefer the reassurance of a deposit, that option is open too: 50% when you confirm the date and the balance at the end of the session. Just tell me which you prefer when we talk.
Card, bank transfer, or cash. For card payments I can send you a secure link over WhatsApp, or take the payment in person at the end of the session. Bank transfer works well for clients already in Mexico. Cash is genuinely my preference and the simplest for both of us, but every option is available and none of them changes the price.
If you have not paid anything yet, which is the default, there is nothing to settle — just let me know as early as you can so I can open the date for someone else. If you did pay a deposit: cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session are refunded, less the processing fee charged by the bank. Within 24 hours of the session the deposit is not refundable, since that date is no longer possible to fill. Weather is the exception and is handled separately: if rain forces a change, I reschedule at no cost or refund you in full.
Rates are higher between November and April, when demand in Puerto Vallarta is at its peak and availability is genuinely limited. The prices on this page are the current ones — if you are reading this during low season and travelling in winter, expect the winter rate rather than this one. Message me with your dates and I will confirm the exact figure before you commit to anything.
Through an online gallery, within 72 business hours at the latest. You can download everything at full resolution as many times as you like, and share the link with family who could not travel. Most of my clients are visiting for a week or less, so this timing is deliberate — you will have your photos before you fly home rather than weeks later.
Yes, freely. The images are delivered without watermarks and you are welcome to post them anywhere you like. A credit is always appreciated but never required.
You have three options, and the choice is always yours. Most afternoon rain in Puerto Vallarta passes within thirty to sixty minutes, so waiting it out is usually simplest — and the light right after a storm can be extraordinary. If you would rather go ahead in the rain, I can shoot with a weather cover on the camera; I want to be straightforward that this limits me, since I cannot use additional lighting or change lenses while the cover is on, so the images will be simpler than a dry session. And if you prefer a different day, I reschedule at no cost. If your travel dates make rescheduling impossible, I refund you in full.
I'll confirm availability and the exact rate for your travel window before you commit to anything.
Sessions are limited each month so every client gets my full attention. If you're visiting between November and April, reach out early.
