Privacy Policy

This site is run by one person — me, Antonio Vargas, a photographer based in Puerto Vallarta. This page explains what happens to the information you send me. It is short, because there is not much to explain.
What I collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, the kind of session you are interested in, your preferred date, how many people are coming, and whatever you write in the message field. Nothing else, and nothing you did not choose to send.
What I do with it
I use it to reply to you and to plan your session. That is the whole purpose. I do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. I do not add you to a mailing list — if you never hear from me again after our conversation ends, that is by design.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and are forwarded to my email inbox. Netlify keeps a copy in their dashboard. Both Netlify and my email provider are outside Mexico, which means your information is stored on servers in other countries — most commonly the United States.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking pixels. There is no Facebook pixel, no advertising network, and nothing following you from page to page to build a profile. Fonts are loaded from Adobe Typekit and Google Fonts, and the video on the home page is embedded from YouTube — those services may set their own cookies when their content loads, which is outside my control.
Your photographs
This is worth stating plainly, since it is what I actually do. The photographs from your session are delivered to you in a private online gallery. I sometimes use images from sessions in my portfolio, on this website, and on social media, because showing real work is how people decide whether to hire me. If you would rather I did not use your photographs publicly, tell me — before the session or after it — and I will not. There is no form to fill out and no deadline; a message is enough. If images of yours are already published and you change your mind, I will take them down.
Your rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to me and I will do it — there is no process to navigate, since it is just me on this end. Deleting your information means removing the form submission from Netlify and from my inbox.
Children
I photograph families, so children are often in front of my camera. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website; bookings are made by parents or guardians.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. I will not make changes retroactively that reduce the protections described here for information you have already sent me.
